Dr Alireza Mokhtar

Alireza is dedicated to bridging the gap between academic research and real-world sustainability solutions. Based in New Zealand, he leads PathWay2050. Holding a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering, he brings over 15 years of international experience in the energy sector, including a decade as a university lecturer and researcher.
As an EnCO Practitioner and Trainer (UK), CEP Carbon and Energy Professional (NZ), and UNIDO Certified Trainer (Austria) for ISO 50001, he helps organisations navigate the complexities of energy management. He works with the BSI Group (UK) delivering training courses on energy and GHG ISO standards.
He collaborates closely with clients to identify energy conservation measures and mitigate GHG emissions and also applies systems thinking to drive sustainable solutions.
Chris Haines

Chris has ten years experience of delivering bespoke utility procurement solutions for business in multiple sectors including automotive, manufacturing and retail.
He has built up a wealth of knowledge of utility supply contracts, purchasing strategies and negotiating contract terms, all to ensure the best possible rates for businesses.
Having worked in a variety of businesses, from single UK sites to pan-European portfolios, Chris tailors the correct solution to meet each business need.
Naveed Shaikh

Naveed is a Chartered Energy Manager, a member of the Energy Institute and an ESOS Lead Assessor, with over 16 years of experience in energy management and carbon consulting in industry and the built environment. He has supported energy and sustainability managers in carrying out future energy strategy works.
He has an extensive knowledge and experience on energy efficiency and has delivered several energy efficiency projects including design and build of the proposed solutions including the application of heat pumps.

Martin Berry
IEng MEI
Martin is an energy consultant with over 40 year experience in energy management, initially working in the brick manufacturing industry at an operational level and then for 33 years in consultancy.
In that time Martin has acquired an in-depth knowledge in energy efficiency across a wide range of industrial processes, including steam boiler plant, and commercial building services applications.
Martin specialises in combined heat and power (CHP) schemes, from small reciprocating engine based units to combined cycle schemes, including conventional gas and bio-fuelled applications. Projects cover feasibility studies for new and replacement schemes, CHPQA support and investigative studies into poor plant operation.
Alison Stokes
MSc (Environmental Management), MSc (Social Development Practice)
Alison has over 35 years’ experience in the public, private and charitable sectors. She holds Master degrees in Environmental Management and in Social Development Practice, and was a qualified Chartered Accountant in practice for several years.
She led teams at the Energy Technology Support Unit running energy efficiency programmes in industry on behalf of the UK Government.
Alison has travelled extensively, working in Africa and Asia for various NGOs and has lived in The Netherlands, France and Greece.
Eur Ing John Mulholland
BScTech CEng CSci MIChemE FEI
John is a chartered energy consultant with over 50 years experience in energy management and behaviour change. He has designed and delivered behavioural change and training programmes for large organisations in 15 countries over the last 30 years.
John is a qualified ESOS Lead Assessor and is experienced in energy auditing and ISO 50001. He is involved in SECR, carbon reporting and net zero.
John has worked in the chemical industry as a chartered chemical engineer to reduce energy consumption in process plants.
