I have worked in the energy sector for over 50 years, 38 of which as a consultant. I’ve worked in virtually every type of industry and in 15 countries. Over the years I have worked for some of the world’s largest companies and organisations as well as many small ones. It is this accumulated and hard-earned experience that I will bring to bear on your project.
I pride myself on offering a thoroughly professional service and enjoy working collaboratively with my clients to help them achieve their goals with a minimum of fuss.

Behaviour Change & Employee Engagement - Working in partnership with a leading chartered behavioural psychologist, I help organisations to save energy through the engagement and behaviour change of their people. In 2020 I co-founded Energy Conscious Organisations (EnCO)
ISO 50001 - Helping organisations implement and attain this globally recognised energy management standard.
ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme) - Lead Assessor, auditor and Environment Agency compliance auditor.
Carbon Reduction/Reporting and Compliance - Includes ESOS, SECR, Scopes 1, 2 and 3. Carbon reduction strategy. Achieving carbon neutral and net zero.
3. Well qualified to set the highest standards
I am a Fellow of the Energy Institute with a degree in Chemical Engineering and Fuel Technology, I’m a Chartered Chemical Engineer, registered with the Energy Institute’s Register of Professional Energy Experts (RPEC), a Chartered Scientist, a European Engineer, an ISO 50001 Practitioner and an ESOS Lead Assessor and an EnCO Practitioner.
I draw constantly on my qualifications along with the skills and experience I have gained over the last 50 years, to set the bar as high as possible for myself and my associates on every client project, no matter how large or small.
4. Independent advice
When you work with me, you will only get honest and impartial advice. I am an independent consultant with absolutely no links or ‘partnerships’ with energy suppliers, equipment suppliers, certification bodies or anyone else. My integrity is a given and I will work 100% in your interests with no hidden agendas.

One to one, as part of a team or in front of a large audience, I throughly enjoy and thrive on interacting with people and regard my people skills as one of my most valued assets. This is never more important than when working on Employee Engagement or Behaviour Change projects.
