Ferulas and Thuribles is the latest book by John Mulholland. The book is an autbiographical account of John's 11 years at boarding schools between 1960 and 1971. The main focus being his journey through Stonyhurst College (1966-1971), introducing the reader to life at the college, the sometimes strange cultures, the masters, the pupils and to many of the situations that he found himself in throughout his time there. John describes college life as it happened - the good, the bad and the absurd - and leaves the reader to draw their own conclusions.
